You are probably better off replacing the cover. In order to fix it you would have to have the crack "stop drilled" andwelded. Looks like the bushing was replaced and the OD of the bushing was too large, thus causing the crack. Another issue when replacing cam bushingsis to have them line reamed......you'll need a spare R/H engine case and reamer to do the job.
Why do you need one? Remember that it is not just a cover as it contains the bushings for the cams and other gears. A replacement should have the bushings line reamed with a right side case using a special tool. It is usually better to fix what you have.
