Default getting tighter

Have a 72 sporty, 20 over, S&S 4 5/8 stroker wheels, S&S pistons, rings and heavy duty rods. Andrews y grind cams, .500 lift springs in heads, Heads ported and polished S&S Super G carb This iron head runs like a raped ape but cant get it to turn over have compressiion realeases to help starter out but stills eats starters alive. Have about 9000 miles on rebuild and it seams to be getting tighter is this possible? Runs great but its a mother to get going

Hi, 72 Chopper,

Drain your oil and check for swarf or other bits in there, it'll tell you if anything is tight in there...
