It goes on a bracket that gets fastened tothe inside of the RF forward control.

Skinner do you still have the forward controls? Still interested in selling? I recently bought a 1976 Harley Ironhead Sportster and forward controls are not right. I would like to purchase those you have if they are indeed for a 1976. Going to try to post a pic of my bike but please get in touch with me when you have a moment. My email is mhoward0821@yahoo.com Thanks in advance.
My 1976 Harley Ironhead that I need forward controls for left side shift.
