Pardon me, but what in the world are you talking about?
The transmission connected to the oil pump??? There is no connection between the two at all.
Are you possibly calling the speedometer drive gear the oil pump drive gear?

LOL yea me to. I was havin a problem with one thing started to make a post,
took a break and then finished post. bad idea on my part. Lil to much medication today i think....
