there are a few pics on the first page then I think around the 3rd or 4th page he goes into how he did it and where he got the parts from.

Yeah, he did a great job building it. My layout is almost the same except for the bags. I noticed a lot of people had negative comments on the paint and why he did it to a Sportster, but I think the concept and color are cool. And unlike a lot of wannabees who trailer their bikes to shows and rallys, he rides his.

I thought I told you to...... Just kidding. I think of the color was toned down or broken up a bit. it would look OK. Plus he rides the devil out of it.

Good luck, looking forward to see the results.

I'll bet the stock exhaust system from a '79 will fit - instant dual pipes, one on each side - plus a couple extra hp as a bonus.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would open it back up. I am considering the same project. I have seen a couple of cool builds. I seen one that I could have sworn I was looking a a mini Heritage Softtail LOL and a Mini Ultra. I really like the one that looks like an Ultra so if anyone knows where I can get some parts (other than Hoppe) I already know about them but I am interested in the smaller hard bags for the rear.

I kinda went that way with mine. I've seen the hard bags and think they would be perfect, just dont have the money to spend. I'd also like to have the dual pipe on each side but I'll skip the fairing. Got one on my Ultra.
