Default Got my Ironhead back

Don't know if anyone remembers but I had to sell it for medical reasons. I had been having serious carb issues. The next owner got flustered trying to figure it out & I got it back. I took it to a shop & they discovered the problem, the rear head only had .005" valve to guide clearance. Pulled both heads & cylinders for insurance & the front head was the same except the guide was moving in the head! Just goes to show you can't always trust people do do a job right, it had less than 500 miles on it.

Awesome! Sounds like some serious riding is about to happen, and I hope it gets to be you.

Well, bike shop called & both heads are on again (part of my purchase agreement was to pay for the repairs) but it won't start. The coil connection is about to break off & the points look original. I told the shop I will pick it up & do the work myself. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY I will be in the saddle this weekend. I don't know about anyone else but I just can't swallow the price of a pointless conversion... I'll just carry an extra set of points & a condenser
