Excuse me, I may be wrong here, but I recall that the administrator of this site gave you a warning post regarding your showing copyrighted material here.
Most likely that is the reason he deleted the post.
In anycase, I do believe he gave you notice........... pg

Some people just do not get it. Back in the early 80s it was considered "OK" to steal copyrighted software, just like it was considered "OK" in the 50s to shoplift at big department stores. Honorable people do not do these things any more. Everybody know the forum rules on copyright, even if they have not read them directly.

Goodbye to "scottericsonon". We will not miss you.

Too bad you're not coming back. I stuck a post in the thread telling you that what you were doing was a violation of the copyright laws and put this site in legal jeopardy. While I am no longer a moderator here, and don't hang around as much as I used to, I like the joint. So I chunked a note to the admin-types about the thread. If I was still moderating, I would've edited out the link, added a "siddown & STFU" note, and then locked the thread, rather than delete it. That way people get educated.

Back in the good ol' days this site had a (not so) friendly visit from the MoCo about its name. Name got changed. MoCo has lawyers, and they always win their trademark & copyright cases (well, except for that one where they tried to "own" the sound!).

in scotts defense i would nt have thought about the copyright issue either.to me its like buying a book and showing a friend.on the other hand its not my site and i dont have to moderate or deal with any potential legal issues.on the other hand an explanation would have been good....BUT...on the other hand scott...dude...chill out a bit.everyone gets mad sometime and loses it over nothing.....this is nothing bro.i am pretty sure no one is out to get you....at the least you can see their point.come back if they let you...have a beer..join the party...

Default If this is the link to the Manuals, I am with StrayDog. PLus

They are great scans. I paid for the copyright usage when I purchased a copy so I am entitled to use it as I see fit. (Ain't I? lol)

In my post quoted above, i regret and apologize for the reference to "honorable people", which implies that the poster was being dishonorable, when in fact he could well have been just trying to be helpful.
