79 xls side cover

I am trying to find the oiltank battery cover for my 79 xls. I have searched for one and have not found a used one yet. I really don't want to spend 100 on something I am going to paint anyways.Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen them on eBay from time to time. You have to watch often. You also have to be prepared to pay whatever it takes to win the auction if you really want the part.

I am gfoing to be checking each day but I can buy a new chrome one for 95.and some change. Was hoping to find a used one cheap.
