Spark plugs
I know this is an old thread but figured since there is already one id just ask here. 1984 xlx1000. Was looking at ngk since they're my preferred brand. My question is, it says the Br6hix uses a resistor but when reading it says it has a 5k ohm resistance. Im running a 5 ohm dual fire coil with points NOT electronic ignition. Would this spark plug be ok to use even though it has a resistor or what ngk sparkplug should i use, the B6l like stated in previous comments? Im asking because the iridium's last a lot longer and conduct electricity better so itd be nice to not have to change plugs as often and possibly get better combustion. Any advice would ve appreciated.
