Don't know for sure, but my bike came with ngk resistor plugs. After a lot trial and error, and not wanting to buy million $ plugs from harley I found an ngk non resistor plug-solved all my problems, they are ngk b-6L right or wrong I was told that the coil delivers just the right juice and does not resistor plugs to adjust it!
Is it not possible that someone doing a search about reading spark plugs could benefit from an 11 year old thread? Perhaps of no benefit for the original poster but maybe lotsa help for someone searching for info NOW.

My ride is a 1980 thousand cc xlch. Even thoughy I got the repair manual that tells what the Harley plugs are. Since I do not live close to a dealer I try to get the best plugs at some auto parts dealer. For some time I used Champion RL82YC. I was never really satisfied with these plugs. I learned from a Harley chopper repair shop about NGK 2633. Other Harley ownes around used NGK and they could be got at NAPA so I switched and use NGK plugs now..
I used to run champion RL82YC and they would faul quickly. I swtched to NGK 2633. They do not faul as fast, But in the end found out I needed to put the fuel bowl vent plug back in. That has made the engine run a lot better. Now I add Marvel mytry oil to the gas.
I love it when an old thread comes back around. And it's always nice to reread what Piniongear said.
I finally took my ironhead out for it's maiden voyage with a mikuni on it. Starts easier than my Honda now. Only problem I have is that the air cleaner sticks out a little too far and I can't get my right foot on the hwy peg. I'm running the Branch intake manifold and air cleaner backing plate with the stock ham can cover.
