Drill a 1/4" hole, a couple or a few inches in from the end, on the side next to the bike so that it does not show. Not too far in or you will have difficulty installing.
I used a washer that is about 3/4" OD - it just happened that in a huge box of spare junk there were two the same about that size.. The size does not matter, nor does the ID size. It just has to interfere with the flow.
A lot of guys use a thumb screw rather then welding a washer onto a bolt.
They are tuneable by slanting the washer. I kept mine straight up at 90` to the flow. Some guys prefer 45` angle.
hmmmm...i will try it....at least it will be on "the to do list".i always wished i was better in math to be able to actually do the calculations on intakes and exhaust.but if everyone can feel the difference its worth trying thats for sure.
It is better than baffles if you like the sound that you have. Baffles will quiet the bike, lollipops will not. The lollipops are cheap and easy to try.
