75 xlch straight pipes
hey all, I found a guy selling these pipes for 50 bucks http://www.axiomcycles.com/pages/ite...temsection=177
my friend says it will fit my ironhead. just want to confirm because the site says 85+.

They will not fit your bike. Cycle shack does make pipes that will fit. Drag pipes for IronHeads are all over eBay all the time - that is the place to look if this is what you want.
BYW, drag pipes give the worst performance of any exhaust you can install. They are litterally very good only for drag racing at high RPM. Terrible for street use. Lots of noise tho.
2-1 gives the best performance, then 2-2 with the crossover, then 2-2. Real mufflers give the best performance regardless of configuration.
I personally like the Cycle Shack slip-ons with OEM headers. I have a pair of the taper tip style plus a pair of the slash cuts; the latter have the stock baffles replaced with lollipop baffles. So i can choose which to run.
