Thanks everyone for your thoughts and inputs...really appreciate it.
One test I also did while the coil was on the bike was to pull both plugs, put a wire into one of the plug wires, have points closed, turn ignition on, hold wire from plug wire about 1/4 inch from head, turn ignition on and manual break the points. The spark was so week it barely was even noticable. I even touched the wire (by accident) and the current did not make me jump. So.......I am taking a great leap here and went out and bought a new coil and just to be safe a new point and condenser. Tomorrow I will let everyone know how this ends......maybe will end in a ride...."fingers crossed"!!!!!!!
Thanks eveyone....

I've had the same condition from a bad condenser as posted by johnjzjz. Are you sure your timing is real close?
Hi Baird,
I set the points right at .018....double checked it many times. As for setting the timing with a timing light off of the front cylinder the light would not light up at all due to what I think is a very weak spark from coil.....tomorrow with tell the tale!
Thanks!
