When I bought my 46 it came with a muffler the seller got in the 1980's at a swap meet. He believes it to be original and kept it until I bought the 46 from him. I've had 2 people tell me flat out its repop and then a guy in the restoration business feels its OEM having an original unrestored knuckle himself. I bought 2 repop mufflers from him that he has made so here they are. There are obvious differences from the bottom one I have whether its correct or not is the question so Im open to opinions. Im happy with the repops and no desire to sell my youngest son to buy an original if one can be had.
