Default 38-40 knuckle

OK guys I have a 1938 knuckle R/H case and have located a L/H case with numbers, will the two different years work together, thanks Billy

From my references the 1940 case was a one year only the casting number should be 112-406 for the left case. It differed from the earlier cases by changes to the races and the removal of the baffle plates. My guess is that it should work.
