Local dealer said their getting one of these in August, It’s going to generate a lot of interest and bring a lot of people to the store.

No test rides will be allowed and you’ll be lucky to get to sit on it. One thing I wasn’t supprised about was theirs not 1 preorder on the stores books.

Just think @ 30k plus tax plus delivery , I can understand why.

Many electric cars have fake sounds added - so that pedestrians don't get hit. My friend's Mitsubishi allows him to change the sounds and also the loudness of the sounds, both braking and acceleration.

And Harley has said the Livewire has a distinctive sound from the gears, it makes a high pitched whine, kind of like a jet engine.

Also, by law in the US, as of 2020, electric vehicles will have to make a sound when going under 18.6 MPH to alert pedestrians to their presence.
