LiveWire Great Article
I find it interesting that these so called 'riders' are not interested in a bike because of the 'lifestyle' they would have to get involved with. *Sigh....total gibberish.
Anyway, back to the comparison...if all anyone is interested in is the price of the bike and therefore think the Zero is a competitor of the LW for far less money then the question is why are you not riding a much cheaper ICE bike? Seriously...the Zero is a narrow lighter bike (not really that much lighter it is just much less robust looking) more like a Suzuki DR650 or a Honda NC700x than a Harley cruiser. Just because it is also electric does not mean it is the same class of bike,
With that said, if you want a Zero go look at them. My point is just that they are not the same class of scoot.
By the way, I think the BMW electric scooter, if available in Michigan, would be on my short list as a second bike/commuter. Less cost than a Zero of any flavor with comparable features, more range, luggage to hold my stuff for commuting, actual wind management. and dealers are more plentiful and nearer (still farther away than HD dealers) than Zero dealers. Maybe others will start bringing more like this to market soon.

No imagine the marketing success of doing that ride on a bike that every one says has too short of a range for anything other then short city trips.
Then imagine the marketing success of your electric street fighter motorcycle taking on the toughest roads that KTM was afraid to send their adventure bikes on.
That will be better than the old Timex ads it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
