They make other color bicycle tires, even basic black. And they aren't all that expensive. $50-$100 and you could swap them out if the only thing holding you back is the color of the tires.
Kind of funny how the media cannot do there homework when writing articles anymore. HD owns a small part of the stock in the new company, (as stated in the 3rd quarter HD reports) not the company. HD scrapped the e-bike division sometime back and some of the former employee's of that scrapped division put this new company together. IMHO HD figure a possible way to get some return on the dollars invested that they were scrapping and jumped at the chance to do it, a smart move on there part with very little, if any downside to it.
