Default L v z

No contest apparently.
The Livewires range is understated by the factory as well.

In every head to head test the Livewire comes out on top.

It is also the most expensive.

The LiveWire sounds like an excellent bike for those who go canyon chasing for an hour and then have a less spirited ride home following lunch and an 80% charge. It wouldn't be a bad commuter bike during the week. I am genuinely happy for those who have those uses and the $30K laying around to pursue those activities. If those aren't your use cases nor your financial situation, you are pretty much out of luck.

I keep thinking that I'm waiting for the bike the reviewer proposed at the end of the video, one which is half as much bike for a lot less money. I'm wondering if H-D has considered introducing a light version of LiveWire instead of an entirely different model such as any of the concept bikes we've been shown? A "LiveWire Iron" with a 55-60 kW motor, coincidentally just a tad larger than the 52 kW motors in the lower tier Zeros, would have a better power to weight ratio than a Sportster. Of course then the question becomes whether or not H-D can squeeze enough costs out of the bike to lower prices to appropriate levels for Sportster like performance. Right now they are getting top dollar for top performance.

The LiveWire is a premium bike with premium technology for a premium price. I wonder if they'd just named it LiveWire CVO in the first place, if people would have been more accepting of the concept. Plus it'd be the lowest-cost CVO on the market... and would have made the "halo product" concept a lot easier to grasp...
