Default Need help fixing bike

Hi I live in Murphy NC and the movers dented out 2003 Dyna Low Riders gas tank! Can anyone recommend someone to replace and fix our bike? Would be willing to travel 100 miles from Murphy

First post in 10 years. Wrong section, this is on electric bikes. I might call a dealer/indie or even automotive mechanic to ask who they use or know. Maybe call autobody shop and see who they might recommend, or if they do it.

Insurance claim with movers, and look at eBay or swap meets for replacement tank, any independent shop can handle the change if you don’t want to try it. Or just ride it.

YouTube is your friend , my dad helped me learn stuff about bikes and even repairing them but I expanded my knowledge by watching videos. Alternatively, you can watch the mechanic fix whatever issue your vehicle has , learn from it , and do the next repair/ replacement yourself.

When I was in middle school we had a class called "Industrial Arts", which was broken down into sections: woodworking (made cutting boards), metal shop (made tool boxes), mechanical (broke-down and rebuilt a lawn-mower engine), and bicycle repair (tore apart a bike and rebuilt it). The most useful and memorable stuff for me from middle school was learned in that class. Anyway, the bicycle maintenance stuff stuck with me thru the years and I was able to service my own bikes and those of friends, often learning about new components and gear along the way. I am still learning, but it is so much easier now with youtube - nearly any problem or task can be found out there and explained and resolved in minutes.
