Well my wife is getting a new 17 Road Glide Special. She totaled her 17 with just over 6K on it. Not her fault, 18 wheeler in front of her had its drive shaft fail. My wife it it at 70 mph.
Glad to hear your wife is doing well and is in one piece. The bike can always be replaced.
Dave, sorry to read about your wife. It's great she kept her head and responded well. A lot of us empathize with how quickly things happen, and sometimes survival depends upon motor skill memory. Glad to see she was a instructor - I believe that really paid off!
Several times a year we should ALL find a parking lot and spend a few hours refreshing our skill sets.
Past 10K now. No problems at all. Oh wait! It gets real dirty through the winter and the oil cooler took some dings. Raked them back into shape with a radiator comb from HF. Then got the new metal cover with the mesh wire to protect the cooler some.
365 Miles on my Road King S that I purchased March 3rd...
However been a lot of rain in FL Panhandle lately.. and this was purchased mainly for a weekend cruiser.. However I'm about to start riding it to my office a couple days a week as well.
unfortunately I only live 4 boring miles from my office.. and about 6 miles from my Gym ... everything is too close.
Think IM gonna load her up next month and take her to GA to go ride is some more fun areas
I have been dying to get out for a weekend and ride a tank empty.. fill up and do it again that oughta make for a nice 500 mile weekend.
No issues whatsoever.. Have started to notice a slightly deeper tone in my Rinehart slip ons though
You're jealous?? I'm jealous! I've been working on my winter projects for months. Got her in December and only been out a few times since. Put about 500 miles of riding that month before snow arrived.
Two weeks ago it was 70* so I added another 200 and then baaamm, 12-14 inches of snow. Now it's raining every day but at least the snow is disappearing. This Sunday should be 58* and sunny. Time to take her out and show off the mods. Will post pics and details about them later this weekend. So, to answer the question, no issues so far, but what do I know.. I have less than 1000 miles on her. Hopefully I didn't mess anything up while working on her.

The distance from my sons shop to my home is about 20 miles, however when on the bike and the sun is shinning its often around 50 miles LOL. Take the long way to the office

Well I've got about 1100 on my Road King I got in October did that all last fall before the snow. I'm giving it a 180 mile trailer ride tomorrow to my Dealer for its 1000 mile service then hopefully it'll get warm enough to ride here next week.
I had a 2017 roadking put 2500 miles on it . Not a single problem with the bike or motor , traded it in on a 2017 street glide , both bikes same motors m8 have 1500 on the sg no problems .
