Check engine light on...

Check engine light on...
New bike, 489 miles on the clock. I installed a CB radio yesterday, by the instructions, pulled the main fuse before I began work. Bike ran great, today I start it and the check engine light stays on. Pulled the main fuse again, re-set, still on. Dealership can't get me in until Monday, maybe...... Anyway is there anything I can do with out the HD PC or not ??? Bike runs fine......

If it were me... Treat it like a sore ***** and don't screw with it. Park it and take it in monday.
There is a chance, all be it small, that something else went wrong. Coincidence? With my luck, if I rode it, the engine would shred from an oil issue. Murphy is always out there...

OK, My friend was able to hold down the resettable miles switch/ trigger and we were able to get the codes.... P00031 which is the 02 sensor..... Started the bike about 8 times since the light was on, now on the 9th the light is out. Just my luck, going to bring it by the dealership on Monday anyway but I know they aren't going to do anything if the light isn't on. Will post if anything happens, Be Safe JIM
