Great information posted on this subject.
[Great information posted on this subject. Nothing to add until I see what the dealer will do to take care of similar problems with my '17' FLTRX RG purchased 10/16. 4500mi, Nice to see I'm not alone with these issues, Thanks for the information, Earl

Heading to Dealer for 1K service, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this odd sound.[/QUOTE]

I had the same whirring sound on my 17 limited when I purchased it back in September last year. It was very noticeable going through 3-4th gear and between 20-49mph. (kind of like a whirr-whirr-whirr sound) Dealer was clueless. I had them loosen my belt a smidge since it was like a banjo string from the factory, but that did not help. It became slightly less noticeable as I got to 5000 miles and now only going through 20-25mph since I put in redline shockproof. It does sound like it comes from the rear sprocket area, but I think its definitely trans related.
