Looking at the software that I downloaded for my New street tuner man is that big of a deal to just load a stage 1 map? Seems like a awfully lot of stuff to do compared to my power vision I used last year on my softtail.

I had power vision on my last bike, got to know it well enough and had fun with it. This street tuner is no where as user friendly to me.
The dealer did my stage III and used my street tuner to up load the new map off their lap top. Well I kept getting an o2 sensor code so they re-flashed and then the bike ran horrible. Took another lap top and re-flashed again and problems solved.
Im not feeling any love at all for the street tuner, actually the dealer feels none either.
I was going to learn how to smart tune, but now Im chicken to mess with it, bike runs great so leaving alone and just wasted $300 on a lap top I may never use.
Same thing, My dealer and parts person steered me away from the ST and pointed me to the PV or the FP3. I chose the FP3 for the geek side of me. Setup and flashing was way to easy! I came off of a PC5.
Running PV on mine, already downloaded a tune from fuel moto & when the weather picks up here i'll be running some auto-tune sessions. I think the only negative for the PV is you need a windows computer which i don't have, so longterm the FP3 may be the way to go.
