Default ECM upgrade 41000486e

Anyone else had this uploaded?
Had CVO SG booked in for service (10000ks)... Day before bike started to idle at around 1500rpm.
Would return to 850rpm if I rolled the throttle forward very slightly.
Told the tech at service.
After service he told me he was looking for fixes in their computer or whatever and he saw there was a ECM update available... So he ran it..
Bike idle back to normal!
BUT
Bike feels a little flat...
Maybe it's that you have to roll the throttle a little more to get the percentage... Maybe the torque kicks in a little later...
Maybe I'm imagining it...

The form he handed me with update details had..
' NOTE: DO NOT install stock calibrations on ECM / ICM Modules that have been Race Tuned or have Screamin Eagle Performance Parts.

I questioned the 'Screamin Eagle Performance Parts' part, being that it's full of Screamin Eagle parts and he assured me it was the right calibration for the cvo.
I had him circle and sign the offending text and left for home.

QUESTION:
How can I check this is correct?
Dealer tells me Harley don't give them details of contents of updates, but as the owner of the bike I must surely have a right to know?

At 1000 mile service they did the ECM update on my M8. Only difference in the way the bike ran was the idle increased a little.
There maybe an issue with your CVO it does have a slightly different tune. And the Flash may effect that.

I think the upgrade increases the idle speed fro 850 to 950 rpm.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if they put a 107 tune in it...
But I would think it would run horribly if they did?

If this helps . This is the flash update number for my 2017 RGU 107. It did increase the idle speed.

Old calibration 41000481A
New calibration 41000481B

If an aftermarket tune such as one from a Dynojet Power-vision or even a HD tuner has been applied to the bike, it must be the case that when it goes in for a service, the standard HD tune should not be reflashed to the bike. That's my thought.

I remember when the MOCO sent out "torque management" calibrations for touring rigs to try to keep flywheels from scissoring.
They originally told their dealers to automatically install that calibration as bikes come into the shop.
Needless to say, we had more than a few bikes return complaining their bike ran like crap after the dealer did their "service".
This went on for over a year, pissed a lot of folks off to have a perfectly running bike come out of the shop running like crap...all for a failed attempt by the MOCO to try to fix bad flywheels by making the engine lethargic in the lower rpms.

All was well after reinstalling the tuned calibration.
Best thing that ever happened was when TTS locked the calibration so arbitrary reprogramming by a dealer with digital tech can't happen.

No tune had been applied since new, he just saw that there was an update so applied it.

The Screaming Eagle Pro Street Tuner was also upgraded to improve low engine speed stability. They increased the idle speed from 850 to 950 rpm.

It should be fine then as long as the tech applied the right updated tune for your CVO. I think the text you quoted tells the tech not to apply a stock tune, CVO bike or otherwise, to a bike that has had an updated tune to it from a Screaming Eagle Tuner or aftermarket as it would overwrite that. In relation to idle increases, I have read that the idle can go up if you turn the bike off without the throttle being completely off. There is a reset procedure if that happens.
