Default ECM idle speed flash update ?

Hey all,

Noted in a few post that an ECM idle speed flash update was done. Does anyone have concrete proof of this? NOT ON A STAGE 1 or tuner update.....just a factory reset or update. A few posters mentioned this being done by a dealer at the 1k service. I know my M8 idle hunted and varied until I put in the Stage 1 map, now its solid at 950, no hunting. Have a good friend that his Ultra hunts all over the place and is easy to stall due to the changing rpm. He took it in for the 1k and the dealer said they were aware of the customer complaints but had no knowledge of an ECM update.

Any help appreciated!

I asked for my 17 CVO just a week ago when I was in having some aux lights installed. The dealer told me no.

I don't think anyone is doubting you. At least I am not. That said I saw the dealer look up my VIN and there was nothing noted.

Is yours liquid cooled or Oil cooled. Early production or late. I had head that the idle update did not apply to all models.

Does it stay at exactly 950? Or does it vary slightly?
