This code shows up after clearing. It's listed *** ACC shorted high. Bike runs fine. I also get a Pn 41000341 in the readout. It's the Harley part number for the BCM. I have added a security siren, and the run, turn, stop module both OEM. I did add some led bulbs for front and rear turn signals. Have no idea when this code first appeared, discovered it during code check after reading how to diagnose. Should I worry? Appreciate all help.
I saw it in another thread and saved it and thought it might come in handy. It's a list of all Harley trouble codes and other codes as well. Hope this helps.
Thanks. I did use the list. I'm just not sure what the ACC shorted high means in practical terms. My RK is stock except as indicated. The only thing thing it might be is if the factory battery tender is connected to the ACC curcuit. It's the only thing that occurs to me.
2020 Ultra-limited having the same issue with b2112. BCM exchanged out. My dealer service manager stated something about the throttle body stuck open or something. Hoping someone out there has the same issue solved and can give guidance as he doesn't seem to know what to do but scratch his head. Don't get me wrong, these guys really wanna fix it but even calling Harley corporate hasn't helped. Any ideas?
FWIW, this is what is said about that code in my 2016 Electrical Diagnostic Manual, I checked a 2019 manual and the only thing different was on the R/Y wire circuit on the wiring diagram, on the 2016 it said "Tour-Pak Speaker Pod" and on the 2019 it was labeled "Rear Audio" for that item... the rest was the same.
I'd start by unplugging anything added to that circuit to see if the issue goes away. Then this is test procedure, which they replaced the BCM which is Test 2, but it comes back with a new BCM...
Sooooo, I'd go back to Test 1, and do #3A and "repair short to voltage on (R/Y) wire". IF THIS ISN'T DONE, AND EVEN IF YOU REPLACE THE BCM, THE CODE IS GOING TO COME BACK BECAUSE THE SHORT IS STILL PRESENT.
