On the backrest pad of the link you sent shows a carbon fiber style insert, the '17 seat has a different insert to it, more of a grain vs carbon fiber. The overall seat and backrest pattern is the same, it's the insert that is different that everyone is looking for
When I go to that PN, it states styled for 2015 CVO SG. It also says for the passenger, not for the rider. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters but it's not the same for the 17 CVO SG as others have already stated.
Wow... I stand corrected. You all are right. The pad is a carbon like weave but the seats are different. Didn't notice. Now my OCD will drive me nuts! And it is the passenger back rest. I don't have a rider backrest.
