who's been having to add transmission fluid?

Steven,, those of us that have been living with this issue and others. Know how and where to fluid is getting in the primary. It has nothing to do with hydraulic or cable. It's all about sloppy production when it comes to HD boring a clean hole and making a mating push rod. Of which they can't do or pay others to do for them. Thats it period!

Sealed Side Cover
So tonight I decided to do a mock-up on a transmission I had in the garage. I removed the stock nut and installed the nut I had machined.
I installed the side cover.
I took a few measurements. It appears I could have about .0625" machined off the width of the nut and still have plenty in the seal.
The actuator has clearance. I'm not sure how far the clutch pushrod extends through the mainshaft, but I now have confidence this is going to work.

Unfortunately, mine has been back at the dealers for weeks waiting for them to work some sort of new magic trick on it........ again. Might not ever get that bike back or ride it again. This game is coming to a quick end here REAL soon man!
