Corbin makes excellent saddles. That seat would be my top choice for a street or road glide. Should be plenty comfortable for the rider, but it has only 8 inches of width for the passenger. You may end up with a very unhappy passenger after a long ride.
Seat threads are almost like oil threads, preference. I have had numerous Corbin seats over the years and 1 thing they all have had in common, hard as a board. They just don't break in like they advertise, for me anyway. I have had the best luck with Mustang seats and the Super Touring I put on my RKS is awesome.
Now you will hear some folks say Mustang is not good, but more positive than negative users from what I have read. Honestly, I will not buy another Corbin seat if I was looking for comfort and to me, comfort is a seat you can ride literally all day on and be good. I recently did a 950 mile day (16.5 hours) on my Mustang and it was the best 16 hour saddle day I have had. On my Corbin equipped F800, after 300 miles my *** is on fire.
So if you want looks and are only talking about day rides for a couple hundred miles, should be fine.
Just to share my experience with the seat ... Its great
Creates a nice low profile look yet far more comfortable than My Hollywood solo I had on my Old RG... I can ride all day easily
I have routinely ridden 17 hour trips on a corbin seat installed on a vulcan 1500 classic, stopping only for fuel and a lunch break (1/2 hour). Worked great for me! I find the stock HD seat on my Ultra works for me after it was broke in. My LRS has a corbin.
