I'm seriously considering buying a 2017 CVO Limited. Does anyone have experience with the 114 M8, the Boom! audio system and the headlights? I would be going from my 2015 Road Glide Special with the Stage IV 103 - which dynoed at 115/115. Also, has anyone put 14" apes on the CVO? Can it be done with the heated grips? Does the Daymaker headlamps compare well with the dual Daymakers on the 15 RGS? How does the power of the 114 M8 compare to a well tuned Stage IV 103? Thanks.
Love my 2017 CVO Limited... Everything with it is great, except the Remote Locks on the Saddlebags works okay in the summer, but don't always lock properly when it's cold out... Most but not all aftermarket bars will say if they will except Factory Heated Grips.
Power of the 114",,, My Ultra had a Stage 2 103" w/SESPT,,, stock 114" was a noticeable improvement over my 103"...
Question what would be the best slip on to put on my new bike. Love everything on it but the sound just doesn't cut it for me. all ideas and suggestions welcome.
I dont own a CVO but I see that your in Clarksville. If your looking at this bike at Appletons then please shop around... They have never been able to come close to any of the semi local dealers prices. Maybe its just me but I have always found better pricing elsewhere... YMMV
The CVOs with 114s are nice.. I test road one recently at Laconia bike week. I thought my stage II torque kit 107 was nice but this thing rocked. Still had the sewing machine exhaust sound so that would be the first thing to go. Go for it! I wish I could.
CVO Limited such an expensive bike with a very cheap and sound terrible exhaust. It must go. Question is for a 114 what Slip-on would make that baby sound aggressive without loosing power.
Hey sharpshooter... I have connections at Appleton's, so I was able to make a great deal. Are you in Clarksville?
Well thats awesome, that would be the only way I could buy anything from them was if I had connections LOL.. Im in Paris, Bout an hr away... I hit Clarksville up pretty frequent though.
