Just passed the magic 500 miles, that my dealer told me to treat as the break in period for my new M8 Roadking. It was tough work, but I rose to the challenge. Today I put about 90 miles on it riding the canyon roads of San Diego County.
Best yet...when I got home, there were several boxes of upgrade parts, from Surdyke, sitting on my front porch.
I Bought A New Wheel From The Local Harley Shop, But It Was Missing Something In The Middle. When I Complained, They Sent Me Straight Through To Their Spokes-Person.

For me the first day was Palomar, and second was a loop through Joshua Tree.. A little over 500 miles.. Stayed below 4000 rpm..
Hey I'm new in San Diego...are those two loops you mention some of the better loops out here? I've done the Julian thing a few times now and love that ride. Any feedback appreciated.
