Default Another EITMS quirk

Was going to put this in the recent EITMS thread but that seemed to be people that werent familiar with it. Anyway..Ive had the feature before on my 07 Classic and 11 Limited and now on the 17 Limited so its nothing new to me. Whats strange to me on the 17 is if I turn EITMS off...it will stay off for duration of the trip/day etc. Come home..put her in the garage..next day...start her up and its enabled again. Does it everytime. No big deal to me but does anybody else experience this?

Mine doesn't do that. If I shut it off it stays off.

"Does it everytime. No big deal to me but does anybody else experience this?" not working as designed would be a big deal to me on a new bike..I'd be having them fix ASAP

to be honest, my perception is that when Enabled it's not as pronounced as it was on my previous generation bikes..it really doesn't alter how I operate the throttle or feel much different than when it's disabled..'almost' seamless and transparent, slight increase in idle and I'm already at 950, also sold on the benefit of producing less heat to the rear cylinder when not moving..I also feel less heat when it's Enabled..I tested with my hand close to it and by bending over with my open face helmet on and close to the exhaust..there was a noticeable difference in heat

I have not experienced this. Stays on until I turn it off, and visa versa. I use it, but really can't tell for sure if there is a difference in heat.

I turned the system on my bike off before I left the dealer's lot. Been 9 months and it's still disabled.
