I suppose it's possible, but there's no magic here. I doubt it's as simple as a new oil pump. Despite all the brilliant engineers on the forum who Harley can't seem to find in the hiring process.

I believe HD has fully qualified engineers that, if left to do their job, would be able to get to the root and fix it.
Problem is, MOCO management is more concerned with bottom line rather than product quality control. This ties engineers hands behind their backs.
When this behavior occurs either the offending company goes **** up or they get their proverbial **** together and do what it takes to assure product quality and reliability.
The fact that the factory delivered bikes that sump just shows me there was not proper testing (no matter what they claim) to find and cure this fundamental issue.
Over 100 years and still chasing sumping issues is not very impressive.
