Stage 3 done
Picked up my RK the other day after having the stage 3 upgrade done, took the opportunity to get the dealer to fit the blacked out rocker box covers at the same time, I did the other blacked out casings but didn't fancy removing all that "plumbing" myself ! Have to say it really finnishes off the blacked out look of the motor.
Finally the bikes got a much better sound on idle & when you get on it, very happy. Obviously I've got to take it easy for the 1st 500 miles but what a difference to the stock motor ( not that the stock 107 is lacking ) throttle response is better & pulls like a train.
Unfortunately they didn't upgrade the oil pump as there are non in Europe but have one on order, Harley told them it's only an advisory but the dealer were insistent that it is upgraded under the warranty. Normally I'd change the oil myself at the 500 mark but the dealer will have the bike back in & do the oil pump at the same time. Just got to make sure I don't "rag" it in the meantime. Happy Days !
