I have it too.Two Dealers told Me that Harley has no cure for this problem and They will let Me know when They can replace.Still waiting,10,000 miles on the bike now.It is an anti-fog coating that is seen in the display.
Yeah my 2016 SGS did it this summer on a early morning ride in the North Ga. mountains it is a distraction I figured the dealer would say it's normal they all do this
I noticed mine did it after I went through some very heavy fog, the inside fogged up at the bottom and now I can see small runs at the 6 o'clock area on the gauge, anyone know if the face is glass or plastic on these?
Just a Quick FYI - This has been a problem sinc the Rushmore models have been out, since 2014. I’ve had them replaced twice on my 2015 CVO Limited and the last ones streaked up in about 3 weeks and about 800 miles of riding. I would suggest that along with going to your dealer that you also contact H-D Customer Service and voice your disappointment with the gauges that have been a problem since 2014. Harley should have fixed this problem long before now, no excuses. We shouldn’t have to accept an inferior product when they replace them, they are just using another defective part. NOT GOOD !!! I understand the “Gold Wings” don’t have this problem but I will stick with Harley for now.

Hopefully Harley has this financed ? You quit making the payments till they fix it.
Good Luck[smile]
