Default Dented Dash Replacement

So, as you can see in the picture, I've acquired a little dent in my tin foil thin dash on my bike. It's not that big, but when I look down at the speedo and the light is right, I notice it and it bugs the **** out of me. It happened when I was pulling my key out of my pocket and it flipped out of my hand and landed on my dash. My key ring only has the bike key and the small rubber key tag from the dealership on it, so as you can imagine, there is like no weight behind the whole setup. It hit just right with the tit on the barrel and the square handle. Any how, I'm having a hard time paying for another cheap looking tin foil thin OEM dash to replace this one, and the only other thing I can find on the Inter-web is this thing......

Have you guys seen anything else besides this? I mean, it ain't that bad, buy I like options man! And I think it's same dash for quite a few years, right? You'd think there would be something else out there......

I’m on my 3rd one since June! Cheap crap. Can’t look at it hard without messing it up. Check out what a buddy is making for me as we speak:

Damn dude! That looks awesome! Your buddy could have a market for those. So if I'm guessing correctly, the POS dash is attached with double stick tape or something like that, right? So that's how you would attach your new leather one?

Yeah the stock one is double side tape. I’ll probably use Chicago screws to mount this. I don’t think tape would hold it down.

I have about 4 dents in mine. I have been looking for something a bit more solid but not going to pay over $200 for the ones the OP showed, for me they are a little over done. I was surprised there isn't more on the market, I do prefer metal with some chrome.

The stock replacement is $60. I should probably know the part number by heart.
