The S/E High load bearing and high lift valve springs are included in the high lift cam stage 111 and 1V kits.
1 think that it a clue that they don't think they are mandatory on low lift Torque cams.

As far as the inner cam bearing replacement you can use most brands of the Twin Cam tools to remove the bearing from the cases which is simple, however when putting the new bearing in the case you need to make sure you set it to the proper depth. Some TC kits use a driver which allows you to carefully set this. Jims USA is now offering their retrofit kits to upgrade their TC kit for use with M8 engines and as another user noted above George's Garage will have their kit available soon as well.

I bought a fuel Moto cam tool and the direction said install the cam bearing with round edge facing out.
Every thing I’m seeing on the net says numbers out. I followed directions and did numbers in. Do I need to pull it out and turn it around.
Any help would be great.

I installed mine with numbers out. Do you have the Koyo bearing?

Though I haven't done it on the M8, I have done several on the TC. All of my research before the work indicated to install the bearing with the numbers outwards/visible once installed.

Also, as a general rule of thumb once the bearing is installed it should not be removed & reinstalled. The Koyo bearings are an upgrade over stock and not expensive. If you decide to redo the bearing a new one would be recommended, despite the short-term setback.

It's noted in step 5 of our instructions to "install the cam bearing on the bearing driver with the rounded side of the cam bearing facing outward", the context "outward" is in reference to the direction the bearing is installed on the tool in this step, not in the engine case. The rounded edge allows the bearing to engage/align into the case properly and the tool sets the bearing to the proper depth numbers out. If the bearing was installed backwards I would recommend removing the bearing and replacing it.
