Had them on my 2005 Ultra and they did cool the bike down a bit. Can't say anything about increased performance...

In the past I have helped Steve test a few of his newest models. It seems to be getting more and more difficult for him to perfect these since the Harley folks are making it increasingly difficult for him to do so. He's good at what he does and I suspect he will solve the issues at hand. I've been using Nightrider products for many years.

Nightrider is good at what they do . The IDE and XIED's have been a round a long time this is just the next step. They work . More of a band-aid than a cure but effective to a point. The new idea posted should be interesting. I had the IDE's on my 07 It really just fooled ECM and cause it to add fuel. No real tuning effect but was not looking for that.
I would have no problem giving a product from Nightrider a try. Nice part is no trace of it being installed on the ECM.

Yea we did similar to what these do when the XCal one's manufacturer quit support for Fords here in Oz, we had one boosted vehicle with just a base map and no way to change anything ,we just put two potentiometers on the car , one on the Tmap and the other the 02 sensor, ran it by ear and feel ,it worked till we had new tuner boxes.

Never met him personally but have spoken at length with him numerous times as he was perfecting his wares. He gave me his cell #. He would send the newest designs to me and I would install them and report back to him on their effect. We would try various settings. Biggest issue he was running into with the newest models was the sensitivity of the new Harley electrics which would cause the Check Engine light to come on.
