with all the problems M8 brings, just get a TS111 (or TS116) and go ride.
I rode a 111 for three years and now I have an M8 SGS. I like my M8 SGS better.
The TS111 runs hot and it's under powered for 111 cubic inches.
The M8 runs way cooler and will eat a stock 111 for breakfast.
The M8 is smoother at cruising speeds where as the TS111 vibrates quite a bit at high way speeds. You can feel it in the floor boards and handle bars.
I didn't own a clacker but I have heard a few and they are as bad as they say they are. My TS111 was trouble free for the 30K miles I owned it so we'll see how the M8 does, so far so good!
I'm enjoying being on a Harley. I would buy another Indian and it sure is nice having choices. Just my .02 after riding both bikes and racking up many miles on an Indian.
Well, according to your other posts in another thread, you have an M8 Road King.
Yeah, he also said he doesn't even own a Harley...
I used to have a sportster, and now getting back into bikes. I have been following the resurgence of Indian and it seems that HD is answering especially with the new M8. I have tried both, and as a former (and maybe future) HD owner, I am torn.
