My intent in opening this thread was to consolidate thousands of replies in other threads into one which would list procedures that have seemed to have to address the issue. Just seemed to be a way for members to find one source for possible fixes instead of perusing through hundreds of posts to find that particular item.
Lesson learned, sorry, I'll try just to read and not post in the future. Be safe all.
I understand, not easy to read long Threads when so much of it goes off topic.
LOL, Stoney, sure do look like a toliet doughnut............and hope you are keeping specs/dimensions on all your fix, may need to make up one of your fixes if the MOCO don't come up with something soon.....
Eagle Out
About the only thing that concerns me on the design is the length of the nut. There is .0625" that could be trimmed, but I am not sure that it is necessary. I'll do some measuring soon and get it figured out. I have high confidence that it will solve the problem.
My concern is that the plunger might hit the nut when the clutch is pulled in.
Well all i can say its been a year or more now its going to take time for MoCo or any other Manufacturers to come up with a fix or even a recall. Takes at lease two years this hurting sales for Harley Davidson for sure. All we can do is inform the public and other riders of the problems were facing until a recall is available.
Oh sorry. I must not have received the memo stating you were now in charge of this site.
Probably went to your junk mail folder. Run and check it when you get a minute. I know the memo went out to everyone on the entire site.

While your intentions were good youre again trying to do something that's been done time and time again. 10 threads pop up discussing the same thing, then they all go to ****. Then some new fella comes in says hey I'll start a new thread to try and weed through all the **** from the other threads and guess what????? That thread soon turns to **** to. Your fighting a losing battle my friend. Youre better off sitting back and doing some reading to find the answers youre looking for.

While the search engine on this site sucks, it still works if your willing to spend time filtering out the crap you pick up doing the search. Remember this site and almost all other sites on the internet have lots of information but most is NOT accurate. Take everything you read with a great deal of scepticisim.
For the record, you may create as many threads about a subject that you like until you reach a threshold where a Mod deletes/merges or moves it.
The OP has broken no rule. It might annoy some members but they have no control over it.
I am certain I have seen over 2000 oil threads in 12 years.
If it bothered me, I would have left a long, long time ago... simply don't enter a thread you don't want to read about. Simple as that.
