Had RCX Excalibur on a bike before and liked them enough that I went with their header and slips on the new bike when I first bought it.

Rick, the slip ons or the headers or both? I need slip ons and Im ready to pull the trigger on em this week. Really like the sound of the 4.5's. I didnt think that I would like the sound so much, but these slip ons have me convinced. I really like em.

How do these sound on the highway? Any drone? Looking for slip ons for my new Road Glide before I take delivery and was leaning towards the street cannons as I do not want the exhaust sound to take over the radio. As time goes on I do not think I'll be happy with the street cannons and looking at other options. My top 3 are S&S MK45's, Magnaflow Hitmans and now these. If I could hear them in person that would make my decision a whole lot easier.

Hey, I saw an add on facebook from your dealership. It had your fat boy in a picture. I knew it had to be yours. I want to ride up there this summer.

Not mine but another 16' Fat Boy S. They'll have two sitting there in the near future! Come on up for Bike time. It's a good time!

OP here... Finally had a chance to ride with them on this weekend. They are certainly louder than stock. Have a real nice bark on acceleration, just a slight increase in drone at cruising but nothing that overpowers the radio by any means. Really levels out at highway speeds above 70. Great mix of bark and deep idle without sounding puffy or blappy. Sound like my old 67 gto with glass packs on. Kind of a deep rumble like a muscle car. Some say you have a loss of low end torque... Those that say that must have really sensitive azz holes because I certainly couldn't detect any degredation of performance. It still has plenty of giddy up and go grunt. Any loss of performance might be seen on a dyni but I don't buy that it's detectable by seat of the pants.

Sounds like a nice option over stock!

LOL, yeah I thought that was yours. I usually go to Grand Rapids HD. I need to go to the one in Muskegon though and give it a look. I also need to ride up to the whitehall dog and suds for a root beer float, at night. I might see ya on the road some time cruising down 31.....

Funny but that is exactly how I described them way back, sounds like a v8 muscle car and with the Ventilator air filter, like the secondaries open up on an old quadrajet.....
