Well if you think you need to go I guess it's like your daddy always said "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."
As for your question, yes it probably is. 5800 rpm is 108 mph and an M8 ought to pull that. The only thing I don't know in this equation is whether there is an rpm limiter also and if so what it is set at. I sure some of the people on the site that dyno tune bikes could tell you if there is a governor on the rpm.
