Its a good ride. We less then 100 miles from gatlinburg and love riding there. Im only 32 so we dont get to ride much with 3 kids but enjoy it when we do to say the least. My wife and I. Only advice is to stay away from cades cove. Sight seeing cars and trucks will put you at 0 to 5mph for 20miles. Start stop and durong the summer it makes it even worse on you and the bike. Other then thst and down town gatlinburg its great.

Getting ready to head to the Smokies this week, stoked cause this will be the first long trip with the M8. We were supposed to go last Sept but a hurricane had other plans for us.
So I have been working on the bike for the last couple of weeks. New bars grips and levers, fan assisted oil cooler, saddlebag guards on mine. The wife's 15 sgs got ohlin shocks, grips and bag guards.
Really loving this bike more than any other harley I have had and can't wait to run her through the twisties.
Will post up pics when we get back.
Sounds like a great time, enjoy every mile!
Do you have any info on your oil cooler/fan that you can share?
