The M8 is in its second year of production, soon to be third.
While I see several trim pieces available for the motor on both sides, especially from Kury, I see nothing for the coil pack. I'm wondering why. My Deuce's coil had a nice chrome cover. So I don't think there would be any issue with electrical transfer or interference from a chromed cover. And given that the coil pack is sitting right in the middle of the jugs where in the past the horn typically sat, and a horn that was nearly always covered with a sizable chrome cover, why no such cover for the M8's coil? If there is one or more I'd sure appreciate being pointed in their direction. The left side of my motor is like a big, dark void. As Colonel Blake once said, "in the middle of a great big empty".
Thanks P51Driver. I'm not typically the most patient person, but in this case I don't think I have much choice. It would be nice to see a good size cover in chrome to put on that side of the engine.
