They had the demo truck here today and I took out the sledge (that's what they call it). its clearly a power cruiser and here are my impressions.
Coming from a touring bike, its clearly not meant for comfort. seat sucked for me and the air intake is flat out horrible. it was on my let the entire test ride no matter what I did with my right leg. annoying as hell
handling. This bike handles like no other bike I have ridden with a 240 rear tire. You could easily use this bike as a hooligan bike with no issues. torquey as hell, lots of power and the suspension does what it is meant to do. Its not a soft ride, but its really not meant to be that.
Heat, my right leg was warm the whole ride. there is a lot of heat on that right side
gauges. speedo, gas, tach.... completely useless in the day time. I could not see it at all. I would imagine its a lot better at night. In the daytime forget it.
it was actually a neat little bike, but honestly, it felt NOTHING like a Harley. It felt like a metric bike the whole time. I am not sure I can explain that, but if you test ride one, you will know exactly what I am talking about.

So you're saying it's a bargain at 23K out the door; right??

That's interesting. Looks very similar to what i have on my Breakout, and that works fine 99% of the time. Maybe it's set at a different angle.
I sat on one yesterday, not sure really what to say other than I know it ain't for me, just no appeal and had no desire to ride it
coming from a touring bike, it clearly is not something that I would ride daily. But it is a fun bike. I would love the bike on some twistys at a good pace.

sounds good..that Street Fighter coming out next year might be the winner in that department I suspect..but not for some long legged old fart with a busted up knee like me

They said during the dealer show that the Street Fighter wouldn't be coming out until 2022.
