I noticed that all of the club's motorcycles had their headlights off during daylight hours, illegal in California. Probably done to make filming easier.
This is very typical of filming unless you are a fan of using lens flares (Star Trek and Transformers), They also put vehicles on dollies to make close up shots easier to manage and reduce accidents.
I'll watch it, but I hate watching a show and trying to read what they're saying at the same time. I hope they cut out the F%$#@ captioning.
So far it's not as entertaining as SOA. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Can't wait to see all the hot latino a$$.

The captioning does not bother me, but then again Spanish is my first language. The problem I have is that some of the Spanish speakers are not Mexican and are forcing the accent, plus some are not fluent native speakers. I do hope they keep Spanish, because it adds more realism to the characters and the border crossing part.
I'm in the group of people that doesn't really care and just likes to be entertained. We all know that there are MCs out there that engage in (alleged) illegal activity. You don't get a 7 year long RICO case by doing poker runs and bake sales. Don't do illegal ****; don't get investigated. If anything it's the notoriety of the 1% clubs that give other honest clubs a bad name; not a TV show.
Americans have had a bad taste in their mouths about bikers of all shapes and colors for a lot longer than SOA or Mayans has been around and that's probably not going to change any time soon.
What I love is this idiotic online presence of "1% aren't gangs and aren't criminals!!!" but then it's immediately followed by "if I catch you wearing anything that resembles cut or a SOA shirt I'm going to beat the **** out of you and steal your boots!!"

This.
It's also why everyone wears a skull cap helmet as well, so you can see the actors face. Lots of the young guys and "club" guys love the blacked out Simpson look. "No Face, No Case".
good recap, I struggled a bit to fit the pieces together..one thing I am not sure of re: "The US side big wig of the Mexican cartel is actually married (or something) to our guy's ex girlfriend (the baby is probably our guy's baby) but our guy doesn't fully know about it yet. "...didn't she show "our guy" the ultrasound pics in Prison '8 Years Earlier' but fast forwarding to current the kid is like 2 years old ..ish..??
So it's not his kid, but it's to show she aborted his kid, or maybe she gave it up for adoption and that will come up latter. Either way, you know there is going to be some drama there. We'll also find out she has no idea her husband is a cartel drug lord.
