Race engine are a biotch because there is nothing under the pedal untill very high RPM HP-TQ thereineth layeth THE BIG difference.
Thought a few of you might like to see a little of where the M8 engine is heading. This is one of our customers M8 project as it's getting near completion. Still a little more tuning and maybe a few more engine tweaks but getting closer to his goal. No Blower, No Turbo, No NOS, just engine.
Well I'm betting it is your 124" kit with the TTS 250 cam. Probably reworked SE heads. Might be running north of 11.5:1 compression. A 62 mm HPI throttle body, could be a 64 mm SE. I have no idea on the exhaust. Whatever, the potential of this platform is starting to be realized.
Cam testing in January? I should have the 117" together by then.
