UPDATE: OP here. I had Legends Revo-A shocks and Axeo forks installed. Picked the bike up this afternoon and rode it home, about 30 miles on suburban roads and interstate highway. Then my wife hopped on and we rode about 50 additional miles.

First impressions are very favorable. The fork is very well controlled, and the shock from bumps no longer travels through the handlebars and up through my arms to my shoulders. Brake dive is substantially reduced. Cornering is improved as the front end feel much better planted, especially in bumpy curves.

The shocks are set at the pre-load and rebound they came with. Haven't had time to fine-tune the sag. The ride quality is very much better. It's more sports car than Cadillac. The bike isn't upset by large bumps as it was with factory shocks, and the ride motions are very controlled. It's almost like riding a different brand motorcycle. Two thumbs up from my passenger.

We plan to put our heated gear on tomorrow and ride 100 miles or so in 35-degree weather. Then a big snowstorm arrives Sunday and the window on our riding season closes for a few months. I'll add to the report in Spring after we've adjusted everything and logged a few long days in the saddle.

Installed the Axeos on my 2016. Lost about 3/4 inch of ground clearance in the front. Noticed it around town when I started dragging floorboards around corners I never dragged on before. Found out from the company that was normal. Despite that little inconvenience, dramatic overall improvement in handling. I had Ohlins out back.

Interesting those impressions about the Revo-A.
I’m very tempted to get it, as the stock ride (2019 RKS) is so stiff even with the preload at 0. (unbearable at 5)

Yeah, I'm almost pulling the trigger. Just didn't yet because not sure if I get the 12" or 13" (leaning towards 13" for more comfort) and figuring out what I need to install it myself.
Just ordered the service manual, so I will have all the torque specs and other instructions. I guess I just need a simple (motorcycle) scissor jack now.

Also the (never ending) rain season started here in the PNW, so riding now is only a dry day here and there. So no rush on it. But I want it installed right before next riding season.

If you're on the fence, I would say go with the 13". Once it's set up properly your sitting at 12" anyway. I did the 12" figuring keep it the same, but now looking to convert them to 13", the Legends rep told me they could do that instead of buying a new set. The 13" will give you a little more travel, but still be aggressive enough for riding in the mountains.
