Did you remove the tunable baffle inserts from the back of the mufflers? Also note sound is affected considerably if you are running the stock or an aftermarket cat free head pipe.
Here are a video's with the inserts in, and with them removed.
No I did not. Unaltered with everything else stock and no tuner.
For those interested, we're going to try to get a video put together this week that goes thru the design, baffle internals, tunable inserts, of our Jackpot mufflers. We'll post it on our various social media channels and on HDF.
I have a 2018 Road Glide Special with a Wood 22x cam. I had Rinehart 4" slip-on mufflers on the bike before the cam install, but after the cam was installed I don't really care for the sound of the Rineharts. I've read all about how exhaust sensitive these M8's are, and I think they are costing me a little bit of low end torque as well. For now I've put the stock mufflers back on the bike, and it doesn't sound too terrible with the stock mufflers and little bit of lumpy idle from the cam.
I've heard the new SE Street Cannons on a couple of bikes at my local dealer, and I do like the sound of them and I like the look as well since there are so many different end caps that are available for them. Would they be a decent choice as far as performance goes with the 22x cam? I know the Fuel Moto mufflers are among the best performing out there and considered those, but I like the idea of the Street Cannons if they will not hamper performance. I will be putting a decatted head pipe on the bike as well.
Thoughts?
I run the Cannons on my RGS, I also tried a set of aftermarket. The finish on the cannons is superior and the black on the aftermarket does not match well. I will also say running SEPST my bike runs best with All HD components. Enjoy your 18 RGS, Mine has been great with nearly 25K miles on it.
I had the Cannon's when I bought the bike new in '17. I liked them until I put the FM headpipe on. I know I probably lost a little low-end, but I went with the Rinehart 4.5's and I love the sound. I thought the Cannon's sounded a little sharp/tinny. But hey, it's all relative. If you dig 'em, that's all that matters.
Tab Performance with The Zombie Baffles sounds amazing. Loud and aggressive. Way better than most other brands i have heard. Bone shakers are a close 2nd IMHO

Thats just wonderful if your into Loud and Aggressive
must be a 'youngun' and hasn't reached the tolerance threshold yet
Its all good, everyone has their own reasons for how they roll their bike.I do a lot of group rides, some are cross country in a large Tight group formation. Throw in frequent Rolling Honor Guard duty and you develop a distaste for loud.
